Wingham Library Re-dedicated in Alice Munro's Name
The Wingham branch of the Huron County Library was renamed and rededicated on Saturday, named after Wingham-area native Alice Munro, who won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 2013. The event was folded into the Alice Munro Festival of the Short Story, which was held over the weekend at various locations throughout Huron County. Doing the honours were North Huron Reeve Neil Vincent, left, Sue Seip of the Wingham Friends of the Library, centre, and Chair of the Huron County Library Board Jim Fergusson, right. (Jim Brown photo)
